I've been asked by several, "What the heck is The Blackberry Chronicles?"

The Blackberry Chronicles…
I reentered the world of the commuter this year. Often on my way to work or home I get stuck in traffic. I decided I had better make it a creative endeavor before I go bozo mad, pop a vein from excessive blood pressure, or go super nova road rage. I decided to make it a creative endeavor and chronicle it.

I always have my Blackberry with me and it may not be the best camera but it’s always within hands reach. As I travel to and from work (keeping my eyes on the road) I spontaneously click off pictures as my thoughts are moved to do so. Then, as soon as I have the opportunity, I look at the results and delight in the surprises.

Alfred’s Analog Blog…

Alfred J. Sirleaf started the “Daily Talk” in the year 2000. This ‘anablog’ is the only news source for many residents of Monrovia, Liberia. Alfred’s news room is a small plywood shack where he publishes via large fold-out chalkboards facing the street. Every morning he posts news he’s found from around the city to the boards. The New York Times reported that the “Daily Talk” is the most widely read report in Monrovia.
